Over the weekend, my friends and I went to a nearby coastal village called Cassis. It is one of the most beautiful places in the Provence of Southern France. The town was tiny but full of life and joyful energy. On the first day, we explored the village and went out for dinner and had a couple of drinks. We ate this delicious prawn risotto and paired it with local white wine from the Provence. The seafood and ingredients were incredibly fresh, full of wonderful flavors of French cuisine.
The following day we went hiking in the Calanques. The Calanques are a famous national park in France that is regarded as one of the most beautiful places to visit. The hike was enjoyable, with breathtaking scenery. When we reached the beaches, I was amazed. The water was clear, and the mountain formations were unlike anything I'd ever seen. We spent the entire day swimming and appreciating the peaceful surroundings. Cassis is the most gorgeous area of Southern France that we have seen so far, and it is a location I would always recommend.
